Submit a serial
We open for unsolicited submissions twice a year (March & September). Outside those windows, agented submissions and referrals from existing Inkstream authors are welcome year-round.
What to send
- Query letter with comp titles and hook.
- First three chapters (double-spaced, standard manuscript format) as PDF or DOCX.
- Outline through the first major arc (5–10 pages max).
- Intended update cadence (e.g., weekly 3k words).
Contract snapshot
We offer non-exclusive digital serial rights by default; print and audio can be reserved or split per deal. Advances are modest but paired with transparent per-chapter revenue splits once the advance earns out. Ask your agent for our latest rate card.
House expectations
Content warnings on explicit chapters, alt text for author-uploaded cover art, and a public hiatus plan if you miss more than two consecutive update weeks. See the style sheet for typographic preferences.
